Effective 1st September 2018, Service Tax of RM25 is to be imposed on new and existing principal and supplementary card.

For new card, service tax shall be charged for each principal and supplementary credit card on the date the card is activated and every twelve months thereafter or part thereof after the card is activated.

For existing card, service tax shall be charged for each principal and supplementary credit card on the date of renewal of the card and every twelve months thereafter or part thereof after the renewal of the card.
