Application for URUS Scheme

Dear Valued Customers,

We understand that some of the affected customers are facing financial challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are committed to continue providing you with the right assistance and support. As such, if you are in need of financial assistance, we welcome you to contact us to find out the best repayment assistance package that meets your needs.

In line with the recent announcement of the Financial Management and Resilience Programme (URUS) to eligible B50 individual customers, the following assistance scheme are introduced by Credit Counselling and Debt Management Agency (AKPK) to borrowers who continue to experience cash flow difficulties:

Financial Management and Resilience Programme (URUS)

B50 customers who meet all of the following criteria below:
•Already under an existing repayment assistance programme (e.g. Targeted Repayment Assistance, PEMERKASA Plus, PEMULIH, bank’s own rescheduling and restructuring, etc.) as at 30 September 2021;
•Have a household income of up to RM5,880;
•Whose loan/financing is still performing (not in arrears exceeding 90 days) as at the date of their application; and
•Experiencing loss of employment or at least a 50% reduction in income.

Financial Plan: interest waiver for a period of 3 months, commencing the month following the customer’s onboarding into the scheme; or
b.a 3-month interest waiver together with reduced installments for a period of up to 24 months in total.

Individual customers who fulfil the criteria above can apply for URUS from 15 November 2021 to 31 March 2022, via mode of communication as stated in “Contact Us” :
1.Complete the form and email/fax the form to our branches or your relationship manager.
2.Call our branches or your relationship manager.
The bank may request for supporting document from you to verify your eligibility for URUS such as EPF statement, bank statement, income tax form, salary slip/payment vouchers, letter of termination from previous employer or any other documentary evidence acceptable by the bank.
